- Abstract : The cover image by Prof. Satoshi Horikoshi shows how incorporating a microwave absorption heating element (MAHE) powder into an epoxy adhesive significantly shortened the microwave curing time upon using fixed frequency microwaves (FFM); however, the extent of hardening of the adhesive was highly heterogeneous. To resolve this problem, usage of variable frequency microwaves (VFM) enabled uniform curing of the adhesive, while maintaining the short curing times at 12 s. DOI: 10.1002/app.53010
