Abstract

Abstract : Pd-catalyzed allylic alkylation of hydroxy-tethered allyl carbonates and hydrazones worked well without an external base to afford various E configurations of functionalized hydrazones, which were successfully transformed into pyridazines. Abstract : A palladium-catalyzed allylic alkylation of hydroxy-tethered allyl carbonates with hydrazones has been achieved, affording various E configurations of functionalized hydrazones in moderate to excellent yields. The reaction proceeded smoothly under mild reaction conditions without external bases. In particular, the functionalized hydrazones were successfully transformed into biologically interesting pyridazines.
