Abstract

Abstract : Case: We report a case of an 11-year-old girl with acute calcific tendinitis of the longus colli (ACTLC) muscle causing torticollis. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first documented case of calcific tendinitis of the longus colli muscle in a pediatric patient. Conclusion: ACTLC is an unusual cause of painful torticollis in the pediatric population. Our report will help guide clinicians who may encounter this pathology in their practice.
