- SUMMARY: Peripheral arterial aneurysm is a rarely documented condition in animals. In the present report, the authors describe a four‐month‐old male goat with a persisting firm mass in the scapular region with no signs and history of previous trauma. A multimodal imaging approach was used to visualise characteristic features attributed to peripheral aneurysmal formation. Gross and histopathological analysis confirmed the antemortem diagnosis of a true, saccular aneurysm originating from the axillary artery.
