- Abstract: Perovskite nanocrystals (PeNCs) are semiconducting materials in which the surface is passivated by organic ligands and exhibits excellent optical properties. The organic carboxylic acids used as ligands are useful for improving dispersion and other properties, but the effect of their molecular structure on PeNCs is unclear. Therefore, in this study, we focused on the structural differences of the ligands to control the crystal growth of PeNCs. Three types of ligands with different planarity were synthesized, and PeNCs containing 5–7 [PbBr6 ] 4− layers which can be controlled at the monolayer level, were successfully prepared.
