Abstract

Abstract : Kato and colleagues present prenatal cases with transitional features between congenital biliary dilatation and biliary atresia. They propose that all prenatal biliary cysts originate from choledochal cysts with a narrow segment, but present on a spectrum from congenital biliary dilatation to biliary atresia depending on the severity of reactive biliary sclerosis.
