- Abstract: Due to the high toxicity of hydrazine (N2 H4 ) and its wide use, N2 H4 can result in serious environmental contamination and bring severe damage to the human body. Thus, tracking N2 H4 in vitro and in vivo is of great importance. Fluorescent probes with ultra-sensitivity, excellent selectivity, and good water-solubility provide a promising detection tool. Based on this detection method, various sensing mechanisms and recognizing moieties were developed. In order to provide a systematic and comprehensive overview of the latest fluorescent probes for hydrazine detection, the relevant studies in the last two years have been summarized in this review.
