- Abstract : In article 2100119, Lam, Lee, and co‐workers report the rapid synthesis of graphitic carbon with ultrasmall Ni metal nanoparticles (4–11 nm) by simple laser‐scribing of a Ni‐based metal‐organic framework (Ni‐MOF). The synthesized material shows the best electrocatalytic performances in alkaline electrolytes for hydrogen and oxygen evolution reactions (HER/OER) when the Ni particle size is ≈6 nm. The laser‐based synthesis can serve as a powerful tool for the size‐controlled synthesis of various catalysts out of MOFs.
