- Abstract: Invited for the cover of this issue is the group of Takahiro Muraoka at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology and collaborators. Abstract : " In 2019, we reported characteristic properties, such as fiber bundling and hydrogel stiffening, of an amphiphilic peptide bearing a glycine residue at the center. With an increased interest in the effects of conformational flexibility, we synthesized a series of peptide variants with different central alkylene chain lengths in the present study to investigate their self‐assembling and biological properties ."
