Abstract

Abstract: Three pairs of meroterpenoids (±) cochlearoids N–P (1 –3 ) were isolated from the fruiting bodies of Ganoderma cochlear . Their structures including absolute configurations were assigned by spectroscopic techniques. All the isolated compounds were tested for their inhibitory activities toward BRD4, human cancer cells, and micro-organisms. The results show that the enantiomers of (±)-1 are BRD4 inhibitors, (−)-1 and (+)-3 are cytotoxic against human cancer cells (K562) with IC50 values of 7.68 and 6.68 μM, respectively. Besides compounds (±)-2 and (±)-3 exhibit potent inhibitory activity against Staphylococcus aureus with IC50 values in the range of 5.43–17.99 μM. Abstract : UF0001
