- Abstract: This work deals with the synthesis of photocatalytically superactive NiFe-LDH based heterostructure system by adopting co-precipitation, weight impregnation, electrostatic self-assembly, in-situ photoreduction and in-situ hydrothermal route, which signifies their capability towards photodegradation of Rhodamine B (RhB), and Phenol with H2 and O2 evolution. The synthesized heterostructures includes g-C3 N4 /NiFe-LDH, Ag@Ag3 PO4 /g-C3 N4 /NiFe-LDH, g-C3 N4 /N-rGO/NiFe-LDH, and MoS2 /NiFe-LDH, respectively. Consequently, this comparative work describes NiFe-LDH based heterostructure reflected its superior efficiency in the field of environment abatement, and energy conversion.
