- Abstract: The use of earth-abundant materials to replace platinum-based electrodes is essential for widespread real-world applications in fuel cell devices. In this context, we have chosen the transition metals for electrodes, for their high efficiency, low cost, and superior durability. In this paper, we focus on the optical property, surface area, porosity, and electrochemical performance of the as-prepared CoSe2 /Se-rGO nanoparticles. The optical performance of the synthesized CoSe2 /Se-rGO nanoparticle was characterized by UV. The specific Surface area was characterized by Brunauer–Emmett–Teller – BET and pore size was characterized by the BJH Barrett-Joyner-Halenda method. Electrochemical performance (CV-LSV) was characterized by Cyclic Voltammetry studies.
