Abstract

Abstract: A facile protocol for the synthesis of 1, 3, 4‐oxadiazoles has been developed by [4+1] cyclization of α ‐CF3 carbonyls and hydrazides. This method employs readily available starting materials and the reaction conditions are simple and mild. Synthetic transformation of the 1, 3, 4‐oxadiazole product has also been investigated.
