- Abstract : Liquid crystals have intrigued physicists as a platform that facilitates direct visualization of topological concepts. As reviewed in article number 2100336, swirl‐like topological structures known as half‐Skyrmions are formed in a thin film of a chiral liquid crystal and can be spotted by optical means.
