Abstract

Abstract: Drug-related pemphigus is very rare in children. Erdosteine is a thiol compound having mucoactive, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antitussive effects and is reported to be safe for treatment of acute respiratory tract diseases in children. Herein, we report a 9-year-old boy presented with pemphigus herpetiformis associated with anti-desmoglein 1 antibodies due to erdosteine consumption.
