- Abstract: Present work highlights the structural and electrical properties of some copper-molybdate glassy nanocomposites. X-ray diffraction (XRD) studies have been carried out to obtain the microstructure of them in terms of obtaining crystallite sizes, identifying defects state in the form of dislocation and establishing their roles in the conduction process. AC conductivity data have been investigated in the frequency range from 42 Hz to 5 MHz and in a wide temperature range. The frequency dependency of AC conductivity, σ(ω) has been analyzed using Jonscher's universal power law. The nature of temperature dependency of the frequency exponent provides the origin of conduction mechanism via correlated barrier model (CBH) and modifier-CBH Model. AC and DC conductivity show the thermally activated process in different localized states.
