- Abstract : How to activate a Re−CO bond : Carbon monoxide‐releasing molecules (CORMs) have attracted significant attention because of the vasorelaxation effect of CO. When a phthalocyanine ligand was used, the Re−CO bonds were successfully activated by a low‐energy photon of red light, which can penetrate deeply into living tissues. Thus, this study provides key insights and a foundation for designing photoCORMs for biological or therapeutic applications. More information can be found in the Research Article by M. Kato, K.
