- Abstract:
- Abstract : [Despite not having very strong multilateral relations with SAARC member countries, China has been pursuing a win-win bilateral relationship with all of them. Much of it, however, is in economic spheres primarily trade. A careful analysis of the regional issues tells that fears that China's active involvement in SAARC will seal the fate or an organization already reeling under the burden of Pak-India tensions, is grossly unfounded. It would, instead, make the regional cooperation from the platform of SAARC as more effective and broad based.]
