- Highlights: An assessment has been made on the effect of open stope geometry on rock mass brittle damage. Numerical modeling has been used in conjunction with a probabilistic method. Different stope geometry scenarios have simulated by FLAC3D. The individual and interactive effects of stope geometric parameters on rock mass brittle damage have determined significant.
