- Abstract : 3D superstructure Ti3 C2 T x /Co3 O4 nanochain composites were synthesized through electrostatic self-assembly, in which 1D Co3 O4 nanochains were anchored on a 2D layered Ti3 C2 T x surface. Abstract : Although low dimensional materials have been widely studied in the fields of electromagnetic wave absorption due to their unique structural characteristics, it is a challenge to achieve sufficiently strong absorption performance. Herein, 3D superstructure Ti3 C2 T x /Co3 O4 nanochain composites were synthesized through electrostatic self-assembly, in which 1D Co3 O4 nanochains were anchored on a 2D layered Ti3 C2 T x surface. As expected, excellent microwave absorption properties can be achieved by adjusting the content of Ti3 C2 T x in the composites, with a minimum reflection loss (RLmin ) of −60.06 dB at 9.52 GHz and a thickness of 2.038 mm. The high microwave absorption performance was attributed to the synergistic effect of multiple losses including polarization loss, conduction loss, and magnetic loss. This work provides a simple and effective way to develop efficient Ti3 C2 T x -based electromagnetic wave absorbing materials.
