- Abstract : Vγ6 + γδ T cells develop in the thymus at the perinatal stage and are exclusive IL‐17A producers among γδ T cells. The loss of MHC class II led to the expansion of IL‐17A + Vγ6 + γδ T cells in the thymus. Thus, MHC class II in the thymus inhibits the generation of IL‐17A + Vγ6 + γδ T cells.
