- Abstract : Ultrasmall Gold Nanoparticles Three‐dimensional cell culture models represent a bridge between conventional two‐dimensional cell culture studies and in‐vivo animal experiments. In article number 2201167, Astrid M. Westendorf, Matthias Epple, and co‐workers demonstrate the cytostatic action of doxorubicin‐carrying ultrasmall gold nanoparticles, including their superior ability to enter the three‐dimensional cell cultures compared to dissolved drugs.
