- Abstract : Closed‐loop recycling of poly(L‐lactic acid) (PLLA) to L‐lactide (LLA) was enabled by specific solvent interactions. In their Research Article (e202204531 ), Karin Odelius and co‐workers show how the ceiling temperature ( T c ) depends not only on concentration, but also on solvent properties. This was utilized to lower the recycling temperature of PLLA, enabling direct ring‐closing depolymerization of high‐molecular‐weight PLLA to the cyclic monomer LLA with high yield and high selectivity.
