Abstract

Abstract : The cover image is based on the Review "Animal Models of Pulmonary Hypertension due to Left Heart Disease" (https://doi.org/10.1002/ame2.12214 ). Pulmonary hypertension due to left heart disease (PH‐LHD) is the most common form of pulmonary hypertension, a vicious cardiovascular disease worldwide. In this review, the authors summarized the currently available animal models of PH‐LHD and provided the information on the advantages and limitations of each model, allowing for better selection of animal models that more closely approximate the disease. Stable and reliable animal models will further facilitate the comprehension of this disease and the development of therapeutic approaches against PH‐LHD.
