Abstract

Abstract : This article highlights that a reconfiguration of existing services can lead to a more relevant treatment plan for patients with alcohol dependency. It focuses on how an outpatients service at a teaching hospital has been redesigned to accommodate patients who are reluctant to access mainstream services. This article demonstrates that simple changes can result in positive patient outcomes.
