Abstract

Abstract: In order to compare the exfoliation behavior in the different solvents, the same quantities of a powder of a 50 mg mass were added to a common volume, typically 10-20 mL, in the different solvents. All the samples thus had an initial concentration of 5-10 g/L. The effect of the reduction process of the GO solubility in five different solvents was examined and analyzed. For estimating the GO solubility in these solvents, the UV-Vis absorption spectra were studied in correlation with the refractive indices, dielectric permeability, and density of the nanofluids.
