Abstract

Abstract: An attempt has been made to study the extent of trace element content in the soil samples collected at different depths from the cesspool drainfield leachate. The morphological structure was studied using Scanning Electron Microscope and trace elements like Na, Mg, Al, Si, P, S, Cl, K, Ca, Mn, Fe, Cu, Zn, Cd and Pb were qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed by Energy Dispersive X-ray spectrometer (EDX). Results are discussed and conclusion is drawn.
