Abstract

ABSTRACT: Three new species of the genus Aleurotrachelus Quaintance & Baker are described, A. diploclisiae sp. nov . on Diploclisia glaucescens, A. fici sp. nov . on Ficus virens and A. psydraci sp. nov . on Psydrax dicoccos . This brings to seven the number of species of the genus known from India, and a key to these is provided. Holotypes of the new species are deposited in the collection of the National Bureau of Agricultural Insect Resouces, Bengaluru, and paratypes in the National Forest Insect Collection, Forest Research Institute, Dehra Dun; Institute of Wood Science and Technology, Bengaluru and Zoological Survey of India, Kolkata. http://www.zoobank.org/urn:lsid:zoobank.org:act:FC9D7B5C-08BE-4A6E-9FE2-638128ACEF20
