Abstract

Abstract: This paper studies the long-term equilibrium relationship of coal in China fro m the perspective of energy structure and economic structure by using co-integration t echnology, data of China from 1980 to 2018 are selected in this paper and estimates th e long-term income elasticity, price elasticity, and the elasticity of economic structure and cross-price elasticity with natural gas; It simulates the evolution of long-term coal demand of various explanatory variables at different growth rates and gives policy cho ices. The results of the study indicate that the demand for coal is very sensitive to the c hange of economic structure and the adjustment of economic structure will greatly rest rain the demand for coal.; The change of producer price has little influence on the chan ge of coal demand; Considering the long-term course of economic development, the im pact of natural gas consumption on coal demand is increasing.
