Abstract : An efficient hybrid catalyst with organofunctionalized magnesium phyllosilicate incorporating PdNPs was developed. The characterization of the hybrid catalyst by using spectroscopy and microscopy techniques confirmed the presence of well‐dispersed, spherically shaped palladium nanoparticles over the entire support. This hybrid could effectively catalyse the selective oxidation of silanes with impressive TOF values. Moreover, the catalyst was found to be recyclable and the silane to silanol conversion was highly atom economic.
