- Abstract : Bacterial Cell Division In article number 2202364, Petra Schwille, Cesar Rodriguez‐Emmenegger, and co‐workers show the reconstitution of a bacterial divisome in fully synthetic dendrimersomes. The fine‐tuning of interactions between the active cell machinery and synthetic membrane enables the reproduction of the natural dynamic behavior in a synthetic system. This constitutes a breakthrough in the assembly of synthetic cells as tuning of membrane–divisome interactions is the key to engineering biological behavior and beyond.
