- Highlights: SARS-CoV-2 genomic surveillance reveals the prevailing lineage in Japan. Several strains were identified, from the original one to the P.1 lineage in Brazil. This is the first report identifying P.1 lineage (20 J/501Y.V3) in the city, Japan.
