- Highlights: Widespread microthrombosis is considered as an etiology for impaired oxygenation in patients with COVID-19 with ARDS. Systemic thrombolytic versus prophylactic- and therapeutic-dose anticoagulation were compared in present study. Systematic thrombolytic therapy did not improve oxygenation in critically ill patients with COVID-19.
