- Abstract : The combination of Claudin‐4 and BRCA‐associated protein 1 holds promise as a small and sufficient panel for the distinction between metastatic adenocarcinoma and mesothelioma in serous fluids. This means that more residual diagnostic material would be available for ascertaining the primary sites and for performing molecular testing of malignant cells in serous effusions.
