- Abstract: Vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP)–secreting neuroendocrine tumors are an exceptionally rare cause of chronic diarrhea. We describe a 36-year-old woman presenting with a 2-year history of severe diarrhea and electrolyte derangements ultimately diagnosed with VIPoma.
