- Abstract: Vanadium Oxides (V2 O5 ) nanoparticles have been prepared by using a simple chemical method. 0.25 wt. % of Vanadium oxides (V2 O5 ) doped Polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) (V2 O5 :PVP) polymer composite prepared by solution casting technique have been characterized for their structural and optical properties. The formation of phase are orthorhombic in structure has been confirmed by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD). The band gap of the composite was determined by using UV-Visible spectroscopy. These outcomes confirmed that the simple synthesis process can be used for the preparation of such composites appropriate for wide range of applications.
