- Abstract: In this experimental work the EDM cutting variables i.e. diameter, peak-current, pulse-on-time, and pulse-off-time are considered to machine Ti-alloy. Material removal rate and surface roughness were considered as response parameters. The experiment was performed using the Taguchi (L9 ) method. The results obtained after the completion of the experiment show that SR of Ti-6Al-4 V alloy is highly affected by the diameter of tool and the time pulse, and it was found minimum at D-3 mm (1.53 µm). Maximum material removal rate was found at 7 mm tool dia.(0.180 mm 3 /min).Optimization of the improved response MRR and SR of Ti-alloys was performed with multi-reaction optimization tool entropy-integrated-VIKOR method. In order to approve the review, confirmation analysis was done on the ideal arrangement gives 5.56% and 8% error for MRR and SR respectively.
