- Abstract: The exceptional strength and fatigue resistance of aluminum alloy 6061 make it ideal for aircraft structural applications. Increase mechanical characteristics and corrosion behavior of AA6061 metal matrix composites by adding reinforcements are the primary goals of the current research project offered. The primary goal of this study is to construct an aluminum composite using an ultrasonic stir casting technique that incorporates two reinforcements, such as graphene and s-glass fibre, with a base alloy matrix of AA6061 as the primary reinforcement. In accordance with ASTM requirements, the cast aluminum alloy was machined and mechanical tests such as the weight percentage of reinforcements are taken in specimens such as tensile, Impact, Hardness, SEM, Wear.
