- Abstract: We report a case of a 21-year-old previously healthy man who developed severe toxoplasmosis with chorioretinitis and myositis 2 months after receiving corticosteroids for presumed multisystem inflammatory syndrome in adults, in the setting of a recently acquired acute Toxoplasma infection, likely during a trip to Latin America.
