- Graphical abstract: Image 1 Highlights: C. d. terrificus venom and CpG-ODN formulated as a liquid crystal is presented. Mice immunized with CdtV/CpG-ODN/Coa-ASC16 elicited a potent humoral response. CpG-ODN was essential to generate CdtV specific antibodies. CdtV/CpG-ODN/Coa-ASC16 shown absence of tissue lesions. CdtV/CpG-ODN/Coa-ASC16 adjuvant generate neutralizing antibodies.
