Abstract

Abstract : Inward foldable AMOLED display is one form of foldable display applications. It can provide size as well as good protection to the display. Wedge form and water‐drop form are two kinds of folding shapes in inward foldable AMOLED. Space saving, waviness and optical performance of Wedge form with radius 1.5mm and waterdrop form with radius 2.6mm are compared in this paper. The film stresses at low temperature are also discussed. By optimizing the stack design, water‐drop form can benefit more than wedge form.
