Abstract

Abstract: The global power shortages and pollution can be efficiently overcome by using renewable resources. But the continuous use of these sustainable resources is not very easy because of probability of availability and disturbances associated. The present work is based on a multiple renewable energy assets such as the sun and wind. In the proposed paper, the combination of a solar-powered and a wind-powered half-breed structure is studied and simulated in MATLAB software. The proposed work also validates the fact that a hybrid combination of multiple resource provide more reliable and economic feasible solutions than a single sun-based or a single wind based power unit. The proposed Simulink model also examined the management of active and reactive power profiles of the system.
