- Abstract: Nanofluids are an emerging technology in heat transfer field. Nanofluids can be used in a variety of industrial applications because of improved thermo-physical properties. In this field, the nano sized materials are suspended with the base fluid. This nanoparticles suspended base fluid enhances heat transfer properties such as thermal conductivity, dynamic viscosity and density. Thus, the enhanced properties of base fluid may enhance the efficiency of diffuser heat exchanger. This will lead to the increase in testing time of the engine. In this study a methodology to estimate the thermal properties of nanofluids is discussed.
