- Abstract : Single olsalazine molecules can be self‐assembled into nanoparticles by the tumor‐overexpressed enzyme furin following a 2‐cyanobenzothiazole (CBT)‐mediated biocompatible click condensation reaction and π–π stacking, as demonstrated by Ishan Barman, Jeff W. M. Bulte et al. in their Communication on page 3923 . These intracellular nanoparticles provide a differential Raman scattering signature, allowing highly specific imaging of cancer cells in vitro and in vivo.
