- Abstract : The enhanced reduction potential, light trapping effect and abundant oxygen vacancy defects of heterostructured TiO2 nanosheet arrays resulted in efficient photocatalytic ammonia synthesis across the entire solar spectrum. Abstract : Here, we report that efficient photocatalytic ammonia synthesis was realized across the entire solar spectrum by using Ru modified anatase/TiO2 (B) heterostructured nanosheet arrays. The superior NH3 production rates of 2004 μg h −1 g −1 and 521 μg h −1 g −1 were achieved under visible light (400 nm) and near-infrared-light (1550 nm) irradiation, respectively.
