- Abstract: A 65‐year‐old woman was referred for catheter ablation in the treatment of persistent tachycardia after surgery for atrial fibrillation and mitral regurgitation. Bipolar voltage mapping of both atria revealed that severe and extensive atrial fibrosis isolated the sinoatrial node from the atrioventricular junction and led to the coexistence of sinus bradycardia and persistent junctional tachycardia.
