- Abstract : Immunotherapy In article number 2200017, Weiping Wang and co‐workers report a photoactivatable and biocompatible prodrug. The prodrug is not able to block PD‐1 (expressed on T cells (yellow)) and PD‐L1 (expressed on cancer cells (blue)) interaction. Upon 420 nm light irradiation, the prodrug can exert effective PD‐1/PD‐L1 axis inhibition by inducing PD‐L1 dimerization. The prodrug can recover the immune functions of T cells with negligible cytotoxicity.
