- Abstract : In article 2200005, a giant linear electro‐optic effect as large as γ51 ∼ 51, 200 pm V ‐1 and high transparency in ferroelectric potassium tantalate niobate crystal was achieved by Annan Shang Jr. and colleagues via a thermally controlled domain engineering method due to the abnormal gain growth‐like process produced by polar nanoregions. This significantly reduces the driving voltage, power, and footprint of many types of electro‐optic devices.
