Abstract

Abstract : The objective of a Net Zero energy system by 2050 requires a ramp-up in energy efficiency, electrification and flexibility from within the power sector and other energy carriers. The pan-European Ten-Year Network Development Plan (TYNDP) plays a pivotal role in guiding decision makers and industry organizations. To put efficient low-carbon electricity at the centre, a coordinated effort across countries and across sectors is key.
