- Abstract : Aluminium ion batteries (AIBs) hold great prospects in the development of sustainable energy storage. A heterocycle‐conjugate polymer nanoarchitectonic with synergistic redox‐active C=O/C=N centres and π‐conjugation for high‐performance AIBs was revealed by Yusuke Yamauchi, Lianzhou Wang, Bin Luo et al. in their Research Article (e202203646) . The fused C=N sites assist neighbouring C=O to uptake four AlCl2 (urea)2 + per repeating unit, enabling batteries with high capacity, long cycle life, and high energy/power density.
